I am a student at the Teresa Johnson ballet school and have been since I was 5 and I absolutely love it there. All the staff are incredible and supportive teachers and have taught me so much throughout my time there. I love coming to dance because it is such a positive environment and I always have so much fun. I would definitely recommend the Teresa Johnson ballet school to anyone who wants to improve their dance skills in a positive and supportive environment.

We feel so very fortunate to be apart of The Teresa Johnson Ballet School. Our daughter started at the school when she was 2 ½ years old in the “mum and me” class and now years on she enjoys Ballet, Tap and Jazz classes surrounded by the most talented teachers and lovely group of students. All the teachers are passionate, professional and extremely caring and they bring out the very best in each student, and the friendships made within the classes are true and lasting friendships. My daughter and I highly recommend this beautiful school.

Highly recommend the Teresa Johnson Ballet School. Our daughter has been dancing with the school since she was 5, it's been seven years and we are still going strong. We love all the teachers on the faculty who go above and beyond for their students. The teachers are professional, nurturing and dedicated in bringing the best out of each student.

I trialed this ballet school for my daughter and our experience was awful. The owner is not nice, disrespectful and truly is not aware of boundaries she cannot cross. It should have been a red flag when she said that she does not offer a free trial class because 'there are moms out there that just goes around getting free classes!' We got mixed reviews before we trialed from really good to would not recommend because the owner screams at the kids. Our experience was horrible. Teresa was abusive when we faced timing difficulties. Despite paying for classes, I decided not to continue with this school for my daughter as I truly do not wish for her to be taken care of by an individual with a very bad attitude. Mental well being is far more important to our family than good ballet technique and I would not trust Teresa with the mental well being of my child. Note to Owner's reply: There is no dishonesty in this review, she mentioned a phone call which ended our conversation but failed to mentioned that I had to politely end the conversation as she was verbally abusive with words to the effect of "You have 30 minutes to get back to me!" and "Go back to Brent St!" . I think she is a bully and I felt that she hated that I stood up to her bad behaviour.
