Founded over 80 years ago, the Genesian Theatre Company has a wonderful new home in Rozelle. Visit if you can during their current production, "It's a Wonderful Life" an excellent adaptation of the perennial Christmas favourite film; well rounded production with acting, direction, staging, costuming, sound and lighting all working together resulting in an enjoyable theatre experience .

A wonderful evening of song and happiness led by Robert Green accompanied by Alexander Sussman , in his 'Isn't it Romantic ' tribute to the music of Lorenz Hart. The building itself is due to close and be demolished very soon, which is a real shame. The Genesian Theatre has entertained many people for over 60 years in this building. Thankfully, they will continue their performances in Rozelle soon. It's sad to see these old buildings disappear. Another piece of Sydney lost, but hopefully not forgotten.

Great venue for a theatre, my first visit. I saw The Admirable Crichton and thought everything about it was marvellous - the play, the actors, the costumes, the sets. I hadn't expected it to be such a quality of performance. Now I am looking forward to the next play.

I took my two children aged 13 and 9 to see the Agatha Christie production and on opening night too. It felt very special. It was wonderful my youngest was able to follow it through and i particular love the comedic aspect of it. The actors and crew are absolutely amazing. I love the intimacy of a small theatre. The tickets were very affordable too. A third of the price compared with similar central Sydney productions. I’m looking forward to the next taking my children to the next theatre!
