Our two daughters have both really enjoyed their swimming lessons at In the Deep. The progression they’re making is noticeable, and it’s clear the school is highly attentive, with excellent coaches and a strong focus on skill development. The smaller class sizes make a huge difference, we’ve been able to see their confidence and technique improve much faster than at previous swim schools. The team has also been very accommodating with schedule changes, which has been incredibly helpful with a busy family life and as the girls progress through different stages. The coaches are friendly, clear with instruction, and really engaging with the kids. Our girls respond very well to the teaching style and have adapted their learning quickly as a result. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a supportive and development-focused swim school. The best thing is to see the girls loving their time when then learn to swim!

We've tried a few swimming schools over the years and In the Deep is hands down the best. The classes have structure and a defined path to success. The instructors are all on board and follow the same methodology and most of all my son actually enjoys swimming lessons (which has been a challenge at some other schools). We were truly surprised with the contrast when we started lessons here a few years ago and we're so glad we made the switch.

In The Deep Swim School is the best school we’ve found for our kids in the eastern suburbs. We have kids both very young and in primary school. The lessons are not age-restricted; rather, the different levels are based on clear and logical skills with progression to the next level coming when all the skills are learned and verified and a ribbon awarded. The kids love the ribbons and it helps make progression objective and achievable. Our son began in the early classes and has made great progress with his swimming ability, giving us a lot of comfort around the pool at home. Our daughter (who is older) is in swim squad which is more like a traditional lesson. Her swimming has come on in leaps and bounds since starting and she has now qualified for inter-school competitions and galas. Staff are friendly and helpful and there is a great sense of community. All in all, we’d very much recommend the swim school to anyone who is interested in ensuring their kids swim their best at any level.
