We approached Shane several months before our wedding so that we could prepare for our wedding dance. We had a vision of dancing to our favourite song “you’re the one that I want” and wanted it to be fun and upbeat. Shane was able to choreograph a 2 and half minute routine from scratch and included lots of fun transitions and moves. We also added a bit of theatrical elements into it which was super fun too. Shane is a versatile dancer and a great teacher for all levels. We also had the pleasure of dancing with Sasha who also gave us really good tips for our dance. We were so happy with our result and performance on our wedding day and we got a lot of compliments on our dance. I would highly recommend this studio to anyone wanting to learn a wedding dance or start dancing in general. The studio has really great vibes and is welcoming to all

Sasha was an absolutely amazing instructor, helping us shape up a beautiful wedding waltz for our first dance. She is so patient, kind, funny, and only a little bit intimidating with her posture stick! She was really amazing to work with as we navigated the emotional coaster of wedding prep and dance learning curve, to make sure we are now feeling super confident for our first dance. We also tried some of the small group “first step” classes which were very fun. Highly recommend for any nervous couples wanting a really calm supportive fun place to learn to dance for their wedding!

We've been dancing (as a couple) with Arthur Murray Wynyard for going on one year. Our original motivation was to prepare for an event, but we've found it a truly wonderful experience that brings us closer together as a couple. The private lessons are really quite reasonably priced for working professionals, and they allow you to supplement these with as many group lessons as you like. Even the group lessons tend to be small (4-6 people), so there's always lots of personal attention. Best of all, the staff are friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. They gave us just as much attention when we were complete beginners as they do now that we have one year under our belts. It really is a welcoming, no-embarrassment, well-structured environment in which to learn how to dance.
